Designers Sofie Collin and Gustav Lanber have developed The Carpet Alarm Clock, which forces you to get up and step on it in order to turn it off. Unless you are real nerd and Matrix(Movie) fan, this gadget will not appeal you. Its 3 parts a stringed together with a ribbon and you can arrange it in any way you like and it will display time correctly and incorrectly… depends upon how you stack it on your desk. It can display time in 12 hour and 24 hours formats. As far as dimensions go, each cube is approx 3.5″ square that reminds me of the floppy disk size that is almost obsolete these days. It is a bargain with a price tag of just $34.99.
