The IOCELL contents phone has a hard disk drive that allows the user to record conversations. The user can then download those audio files to his or her computer, and play them on an MP3 player or the Internet. We can only hope that there is no privileged information being shared.

Other features of the IOCELL are voice guidance, and there is apparently a way to put music files on the phone, as well as a way to put music on hold. You can also put in background music, but we don’t have too many details on that. Continue reading…

Microsoft is set to extend its range of Sidewinder gaming peripherals with the addition of a new gaming keyboard called the Sidewinder X6; and if nothing else, it has a rather unique design inasmuch as it has a detachable numeric keypad that can be attached to either side of the keyboard.

The X6 has a ‘cruise control’ feature that makes it possible to repeat keystrokes without having to keep a specific key pushed. It is likely that keys on the left side of the board are programmable.
The keyboard will be connected trhough USB and has a recommended price of $ 79,95. The board is expected to release in September.

According to PC World, an Asus representative said that the company will be adding 3G in order to compete with rival Netbooks that are set to see similar upgrades. We’ve heard rumours elsewhere that WiMAX might be offered on the Eee.

It would be interesting to see how such a notebook will fare in the market, since data plans greatly vary from country to country and unlimited ones are pretty expensive to begin with in the first place. These 3G-enabled Eee PCs will feature internal 3G modules for HSDPA and HSUPA (High Speed Downlink/Uplink Packet Access), and it will most probably go on sale bundled with 3G contracts from a service provider.
