The CDJ-400 allows DJs to play their MP3 collection off CD-R/RW discs as well as music from mass storage USB devices, such as USB keys, external hard drives and portable media devices [1]. The deck also features the world’s first Scratch Jog Effects [2], with three creative scratch effects and an amazing new Loop Divide function. Today at CES Samsung announced a new high definition flash camcorder, the SC-HMX20 ($999 MSRP).It has a 6.4-megapixel CMOS sensor that also has a stunning 8-megapixel still camera capability. It can also shoot what’s called super slow motion at 300 frames per second. Wow. That’s enough to help me with my golf swing or those overdue balloon bursting physics experiments for school.

HTC’s new Touch Diamond smartphone, successor to the popular HTC Touch has just been unveiled in London.The handset runs on on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional overlaid with an updated version of HTC’s TouchFLO 3D interface which is designed to keep the itty-bitty stylus in its silo and make the operating system more finger friendly.
We quite liked the finger control last time, but it still felt like a massive anti-climax when we were inevitably dumped back into the dowdy WM6 interface when we needed to get something done. Still, as eye-candy goes, it’s quite entertaining stuff. Continue reading…
